Call for Papers

The congress is open to all individual members of FIDEM and to all affiliates of institutional members of FIDEM. Proposals must be electronically submitted in the Congress webpage.

Non members can't present papers, but can register and asssit the Congress.

All European languages are official languages of the Congress, as is the tradition in FIDEM meetings. Presentations: 20 minutes + 10 minutes discussion.

Special sessions: if you want to organize a special session, please send a proposal to the Director of the Congress ().

Fees payable up to 28th February (after 28th February and March: + 30 %; in April to June + 50%):

Author Guidelines

The abstract is submitted electronically: http://ocs.letras.up.pt/index.php/secrets/secrets/author/submit?requiresAuthor=1

A) First of all you must chose the section (“Conference Track”) and the type of the presentation (paper; special section; poster; book presentation).

B) The submission and the abstract must include:

  1. Author Name (do not write it in all caps).
  2. Affiliation (your institution).
  3. Short bio of the Author (up to 200 words) with up 3 of your most important publications.
  4. Title of the proposed paper (do not write it in all caps).
  5. Abstract:
  • The abstract must explain what the proposed paper is about;
  • Length: 300 to 500 words;
  • In the same language of the title (all European languages are official languages of the Congress, but you are asked to choose one that can engage a maximum of participants);
  • If you need to quote bibliographical references they must be included in the abstract.
  • Gramatical and scientific correction: please note that due to the electronic process of evaluation and abstracts publication, any errors in spelling, grammar in the abstract text will be reproduced as typed by the author. Errors in scientific content are a reason to eliminate the proposal.
