Porto is Portugal’s second largest city, and one of the major urban areas in the Iberian Peninsula. It has excellent links with major European and world cities, by air, rail and road. Porto’s international airport, Francisco Sá Carneiro, only 15 km from the Faculty, is the country’s second busiest and serves nearly 100 major international destinations.

Conference delegates can reach the city centre quickly, safely, comfortably and inexpensively by light rail (metro), bus or, alternatively, by taxi. There are also excellent connections to the other Portuguese international airports, including Faro (the Algarve), Madeira and the Azores, making it very easy for delegates to fly to Porto. Delegates choosing to fly into Lisbon, Portugal’s main airport, will find it easy to get to Porto, as the two cities have very good air, rail and motorway connections.
