Abstract

This research is contextualized on the 4th Scientific Paradigm, or known as e-Science. The e-Science is characterized by the intensive use of computer networks, distributed digital repositories, and the reuse of research data. This Work argues that a scientific publication can be enriched and be closer to the new forms of knowledge generation of contemporary science if it is configured according to a model that links, through semantic relations, the data and sets of research data to conventional publication. This publication model that integrates data and information about the search to the result through semantic relations is called an enhanced publication. This paper will presente a methodology used for the semantic integration of data and publications made available in a distributed environment. This methodology is based on the use of conceptual relations to establish links between distributed digital objects. The results are a taxanomy of relations and interface model to be implemented computationally
