1st Biennial Conference of CLUP

2nd CALL FOR PAPERS

Abstract submission deadline: 15.05.2023

The Centre of Linguistics of the University of Porto (CLUP) calls for original research in the area of Language Sciences under the general theme of the conference. Work in all areas of theoretical and applied linguistics, as well as interdisciplinary areas, will be accepted for presentation, including, but not exclusively:
- Applied Psycholinguistics

- Discourse and Pragmatics

- Historical Linguistics and Linguistic Historiography

- Morphology and Lexis

- Phonology

- Semantics

- Specialized communication (including intermodal and intercultural communication)

- Syntax

- Other áreas of Language Sciences, including, but not limited to:

* Language Didactics

* Computational Linguistics

* Corpus Linguistics

Abstracts of no more than 300 words should be submitted via the conference system: https://ocs.letras.up.pt/index.php/bcclup/CLUP2023/author/submit. Please note that the abstracts should not include identifying data. All abstracts will be subject to double blind peer-reviewing.
